The Los Angeles Sonic Odyssey (LASO) presents four unique evenings of elegant and provocative concert electronic and computer music with works by some of the foremost composers active in this musical medium including Patricio da Silva, Rocco di Pietro, Christian Eloy, Paul Lansky, Jennifer Logan, Leon Milo, Curtis Roads, Pete Stollery, and Carl Stone. Compositions by multiple generations of creators with styles including acousmatic, micro-sound, and environmental compositions, virtual instruments, sonic documentaries, drama, humor, and more. Inside the rich and intoxicating acoustic space of Neighborhood Church, the Los Angeles Sonic Odyssey surrounds the audience with twelve state-of-the-art loudspeakers in a unique and captivating experience of contemporary music.
